I would like to offer you a warm welcome to Gosfield Community Primary School, a small village school which serves the children of Gosfield and the surrounding area.
We hope that our website gives you an insight into our aims, vision and ethos. Newletters are uploaded and these share some of the recent learning that has been undertaken by our enthusiastic and happy children.
We are a small school of 140 children and are proud of every one of them and their achievements. We work hard to provide a cross curricular approach to learning and believe that children learn by different experiences and through their own investigations, and this is supported within a safe and secure site.
We provide a unique learning environment with children from Year One to Year Six experiencing different zones during the week: Communication and the Expressive Arts, Logic and Investigation, People and Places, and Art and Design. The children in the Early Years benefit from having their own base with outside area. We are also privileged to have a site that allows children to also use the outside Nature Zone to further their learning.
Our children benefit from a large network of supportive parents and volunteers, the FRoGS (Friends of Gosfield Community Primary School) as well as enthusiastic governors that regularly visit the school and we have many other links within the village. In turn our children are learning their important role within society.
We hope your children enjoy their time with us.
